The weather doesn't seem to be able to decide how it feels today, and I know how that feels too! Yesterday, it was so sunny I went on a 2 mile (approx) walk with friends, and then woke up to rain today. Sun popped out around 2 and it seems to be disappearing again. And its still February? The dogs even seem to be blahh.  I've cleaned, and done laundry, and played on facebook, etc all day, and still feel blahh!!!

I think parenting teenagers is contributing to this. They are either silent and unengaged in their rooms, or fighting, or gone with friends. I feel like I run a hotel/restaurant who does laundry! And far be it to get a teen to want to talk with their mother!

I took a picture today that brightened up the day though:

Got our new Scentsy buddy in today (in place of the usual warmer of the month). Isn't he cute? His name is Wellington. All ready for crazy weather. The scent of the month is Sunlit Morning, and it smells awesome and really brightens up the house!

Thank goodness for Scentsy and the work I do with that. It keeps me engaged, working with other women, and provides extra income. It's so nice to be able to not worry about $ when ordering a pizza, or being able to go shopping for clothes when there's a good sale. And earning the money to take a trip to Las Vegas is AWESOME!!! I haven't had a non-cheer or band vacation in years, and I'm so excited for 5 days in Vegas this summer. And that's 3 months after getting to chaperone the band competition to Los Angeles this spring!

Off to change out another load of laundry! And, in 2 weeks I get to make my laundry smell like my favorite Scentsy scents! Layers will be available March 1 and I can't wait to use it with my new homemade ($0.01 per load) laundry detergent!! No more paying big bucks in the grocery to do laundry.

Bye for now,
Miriam

  1. Hi there! Just thought I'd drop by and visit. I saw you came and visited the blog and dropped a note. I really appreciate that! The Valentines were a big hit! As much of a pain they are to make, I'm sure I'll miss making them as much as you do when the kids get older! :)
